1997 SL500 Headlight lens broken

I have seen some conflicting info. Maybe someone can help.

Last week I took my 1997 SL500 in for a safety inspection and they failed it because the headlight lens is cracked. After doing some research some parts sites only show the entire headlight assemblies being available and a few show replacement lens available. However the Bosch part number for the lens does not match the number on the lens that is on the car currently. The number on the lens that is on the car is 1305621267 and the one I do find on some sites that say it fits this car is 1305321093. Could one have been superseded by the other? This for the halogen left side lens.

Can anyone confirm that there is a replacement lens available and that this is the proper part number for this application? It can save me $250.00.

Which side are you looking for? It does matter. Please see headlamps - w/o xenon

I have seen one on ebay that I was going to get for my car, then I forgot and it was sold 85.00. The seller did have an ebay store so may list it again. Also Potomic (sp) German auto some times has them.

Just an update. Individual lens are available. The lens is more than just the piece of glass. It also includes the plastic housing that contains the reflector. The dealer wanted about $285.00. I was able to find them through some parts suppliers for $85-$100. Still many of the online suppliers (our host included) only show the entire assembly. I checked with the dealer to get the actual MB part number to confirm that I was getting the right parts from the online suppliers.
