Bulb & Pads Warning Light

Howdy!

I have done a forum search on this and couldn't turn up anything so I hope it hasn't already been covered.

I think my '97 SL320 has some electrical gremlins! Every so often (usually in wet and cold weather) when I brake my bulb warning light comes on. When I check all the lights are working fine. This keeps happening and I'm worried I might drive round with no brake lights one day!

Now, my brake pad warning light has started flickering on and off and sometimes just staying on, but the pads are fine!

Does anyone know what could be causing either of these problems? My car had an electrical harness changed a few months ago that had burnt out (something to do with power delivery or something) - I wonder if there is one that could be faulty to do with the brakes/lights?

All help/advice very welcome!!

Cheers,
David - UK
