What is the Max speed mark on your speedos? I had a Look at a Sl600 marked up to 310Km/h, i have never seen a SL600 that went past 260 untill the R230.

max on the speedo is 160. it goes past it without problems. I believe a de-limited late model R129 600 is capable of about 186MPH

that would be a gauge cluster overlay kit that has more numbers on it. just because the stock Speedo stops at 160 doesn't mean the speedometer stops climbing at 160MPH, it will continue, and this overlay takes advantage of that

1994 MB 600sl

Going to ship my 94' sl600 to the states. its from japan. (left side drive). I need an instrument cluster with mph on it. any ideas, thoughts? Instrument cluster works perfectly but i know i have to change it out.
