My '93 600SL's reverse started slipping last May, and completely went out. I drove without it for 3 months, parking on angles, etc. When getting new tires put on a driver used it..and it worked fine. Worked great from then up until last week where its slipping. My mechanic in FL said in May that it was the reverse clutch pack that needed to be replaced. Any ideas?
