Transmission Reset

Sometime ago there was a thread on how to reset the trannys from winter to summer mode. I have searched the forums but cannot seem to find the instructions. Can someone post the instructions again.

My 320 tranny seems not to be getting the shift points correct some days and other days, bang right on.

Thanks

The electonically-controlled transmissions adapt shift characteristics to the driver's driving style, and these can be reset. These transmissions also have a "W" and an "S" setting that is selected by a rocker switch on the console. Your SL320 has an hydraulically-controlled transmission and neither feature.

Sounds like your gearbox could use some fresh fluid. Amsoil and Royal Purple make a reputable product.
