Different size rear tires- Did I hurt anything?

Recently had new tires put on the wifes SL500. She said that the traction control kept comming on. So I asked her to check the tire size. Not once or twice, but three times. So I've been racking my brain trying to figure out what is wrong with her traction control system and then just for theheck of it I checked her tire size. 225 on the right rear and 205 on the left right rear.

Easy fix. But I am wondering if this may have caused any other issues. I'm taking the car back to the shop later and want to know if I should have them check something else out.

IE: Would this screw up the rear end? The diff, or any other part of the driveline?

"225 on the right rear and 205 on the left right rear."

You lost me at 'left right rear', but they should both be 225

NO, but it's very important that all four tires match up otherwise you will have dashboard lights coming on to let you know that there is a problem.

Honestly you haven't told us enough. Like what year is your car?
I'm guesssing that you have an early R129 that takes
225/55R16 OEM tire , 16x8 rim , ET34=offset

Please see http://www.benzworld.org/forums/r129...sizes-ets.html
