Car immobilized - won't start - suspect alarm system - what to do?
Help!
My SL600 is stuck in a parking lot in Anaheim and it won't start. I suspect it may have something to do with the alarm system. The car locks and unlocks, all lights light up on the dashboard, but it won't crank. The "armed" light blinks on the dashboard and on the stereo head unit. The normal red and green lights on the door handle does not flash when locking/unlocking.
Any ideas?
Thanks!!!!

Excellent !!!
I had the same problem, and finally got it to start, but I tried everything, and didn't really know what worked. I remember using the metal key...
I was just fooling with the windows, and the alarm went off, then the car wouldn't start - smart those Germans...
