1993 SL600 0-60
HI i was wondering if u guys knew the 0-60 and quartermile times for a 1993 sl600. its my dads car and he jus bought it i took it for a lil test drive lol, and it felt very fast for a old car.i would also like to know the hp to the crank ty very much.

The manufacturer's number for the 0-60 is 5.9 seconds. As for the quarter mile, I think the best time I got at LACR (2,700ft elevation) in a 1995 SL600 is 14.5 seconds. The newer SL600s with the 5-speed transmission ('97? and up) are quicker in the quarter mile so if you google, you may see lower numbers.

It could be a tad quicker to 60mph but I gave up searching the internet for the (non-manufacturer) 0-60 times years ago (could be found in print in some old car magazines). To me, 0-20 feels really slow but after 20, it starts to feel much quicker. The car is really heavy after all so I guess it takes a lot of power to move it in the beginning.
