SL Performance Tuning
Has anyone done any Chip Tuning, changed pulley or anything of that sord for the SL's, I read allot about other MBZ's except SL's I've found couple of companys but not sure how legit they are... I appreciate any Info... Thanks...

I've been thinking about doing a chip. But $1000 is a bit steep. If I did do it I would dyno the car before the chip was installed and after and see if it actually did anything. I would not be pleased if it did not give me at least 10 hp. $100.00 per HP.

I hear you... 1k is a bit steep but if it does what they say it should be alright, and the other one for 250.00 I really can't trust them. but I'm going to LA in about 2 weeks I'll go check them out. Thanks but if you know any info please drop a line...

i ve just got a 98 sl7.4 that goes to the other extreme. it has $92,000 in receipts for upgrades from renntech including a bored motor, titanium everything in the motor, upg trans and a gleeson rear diff among others. its now 525hp and 620lb ft tq.
