'95 SL500
Blower making noise-tough to replace?
A/C and Heat fan making noise when turned on faster than speed #2. Does rat cage need to be replaced? Is it worthwhile (and relatively easy) to rebuild? Anyone with tips on rebuilding or replacing the unit? Thanks in advance-

A common fault, but not necessarily yours, is the blower motor retaining strap works its way loose due to age and a relatively poor design. You can read about it here, and get some direction on getting to the blower motor and the cages. FYI...
