SL/R129: Hydraulic Pump

Hydraulic Pump
Hi, The hydraulic pump to actuvate the soft top is situvated under the cover of the spare Wheel. The 129 Model started in about 90 to about 2002. My thought is that this Bose hydraulic pump is the same for duration of this model or has there being a different pump used when the SL320 arrives in 1997? The reason was, my friend who has a 97 SL320 lives in a different states and he is having trouble with his pump. Told him to SMS me the pump model number and his was 129 800 1449 05420 20013. Looking at my 1992 model the number is 129 800 0548 0542 020 004. What can be different???
