I have a 1995 320Sl with 90,000 miles that has developed an intermintent starting problem. When I start it the starter chugs, almost as if the battery is low. When I try it the second time nothing, unless I leave the key in the start position for approx. 10 secs. On the third try it usually starts normally. When it starts it runs A1.
The previous owner replaced the underhood wiring harness.
Anyone every come across this problem, if so how did you rectify it?
