follow this video and see if you have codes. You might also want to see if the correct version coding is set. The video covers that as well:

Just found out after a drive that I also lost rear defogger functionality. I doubt that is linked to the center vents not working due to a vacuum issue, so I'm hoping it's as simple as a faulty control unit. New one comes on Friday. I'll note that this started after removing and reinstalling the control unit when I changed out the center console trim last week, but not sure how. I'm extremely cautious when it comes to removing anything, and the nature of the harness connectors makes it pretty hard to mess up.

Here are the codes pulled after going through the diagnostic process. Don't know what to make of it, frankly.

226 - In-car temperature sensor (B10/4)
228 - Heater core temperature (B10/1)
230 - Evaporator temperature sensor (B10/6)
232 - Refrigerant pressure sensor (B12)
233 - Refrigerant temperature sensor (B12/1)
416 - Coolant circulation pump (M13)
422 - Series interface (K1) connection to instrument cluster

You probably have messed up version coding. Delete all of those codes and then change the version code to 03P. The version coding stuff is near the end of the video I linked you to

Replacing vacuum hose connected to vacuum valve block

My center vents don’t work either. This thread was helpful. After locating the vacuum valve block, I found one of the green colored vacuum hoses was eaten through by a mouse. The line runs from the vacuum valve block to a round black connector embedded in the firewall. I am assuming the line runs through the firewall or is it just connected to the round black item. I need to replace the line. Please help. Don’t know if I can just connect the two ends or if I have to get behind the dash to replace the whole line. Thank you.
