Talking wheel offset for 99-SL500
Can you tell me what the correct offset is for a 99 SL500?
Is the offset the same for both the front and the back?

The standard wheels on a 1999 SL500 are the propeller design in 8 1/4J X 17H2 sizing with a 34mm offset. All four tires are the same. The optional sports package came with AMG 8 1/2 X 18 front tires with a 25mm offset, and 9 1/2 X 18 rear tires with a 23mm offset.
Standard tires for these rims are 245/45 /R 17 all around or
245/40 ZR 18 front and 275/35 ZR 18 rear
