91 550sl hood Hinge problem
I have a 91 500 sl and my hood hinge won't catch to keep the hood in the up position.Any suggestions.How hard would it be to replace the hood hinge.It is the hinge on the drivers side and for some reason won't catch to stay open.Any suggestions Thanks jimbo

I am not sure. Initial guess is that Gas springs are bad. I am going to replace the hood padding soon, so if i get any insight I will repost it here...
