Hi SL500 lovers,
I have a 1999 SL500, roof is in good shape (previous owner kept the hardtop on)
But I am gettting alot of wind noise near the top/back of each side window.
Any advice?

First thought is seals on the top, softness of the rubber? fit of the window glass into the seals can be adjusted ( not by me!) but there are videos of the process and I asked the service garage that looks after my toys and they did a nice job.
The top has an air exchange gap in the canvass between the top and the back panel that holds the plastic window. If that material doesn't overlap then a low fluttering resulted. The "top" man corrected that annoyance in just a few minutes. I don't know what happened but the sound is gone.
those are my lessens learned with a 1994 SL600
