SL/R129: Interior Parts ???

Interior Parts ???
I'm looking for interior trim parts, etc. for my 1997 SL320 in Beige. They cost a fortune from the dealer, and deterioriate in the Florida sun... Does anyone know a source, or maybe parting out their car ??? Specifically the rear view mirror frame, visor hinge covers, visors, interior clips & fasteners.

I got visor mirror assys from Mercedes-Benz of South Atlanta(770-964-6404) for $108 each(list was $180). They only come in black so I had to paint them. From an auto paint supply store, I got SEM Paint and SEM Plastic Prep for $25. Came out pretty good for a novice.. MB South sells most of their parts at a good discount.

Open eBay, go to very bottom of page and click on the American flag. Select "Germany". When
German ebay opens , type "mercedes r129 spiegel". It will open with several inside rearview mirrors. You are on your own after that. A lot of the foreign sites will respond to English emails. Might find some good stuff there.

p.s. Some weekend when I am free, we'll get together and compare notes. I am in Port St Lucie

I found the whole assembly. A lot cheaper than the local MB shop !!! Thanks !!! I'm still going to price the frame from your Atlanta store...
The Atlanta store wanted to sell me the whole mirror for $900. How did you get just the frame ???
Also, I found a whole mirror on ebay for $82 - wrote him using Babel fish to translate - we'll see...
