Strut mount difference between w or w/out self leveling
I cant see much of a difference but the price is more than double.
Any one know the difference?
Without Self Leveling

I don't think the dealer was correct saying my vin pulls up self leveling. It looks like a conventional shock to me. I'm guessing the self leveling would be a system like the abc or airmatic which have pumps and extra items under the hood.

2000 SL500
There were very few R129 SL500's that were ordered with the very expensive ADS option. The R129 SL600 came with ADS as OE. Not an option on the SL600. You probably have struts/shocks like most SL500's.
