'94 SL600 RENNtech resto/mods/pics
I'm back on board with my '94 finally! 6 months in the paint shop. This project really doesn't have a particular end goal. I'll just let it evolve and see where it ends up.
Some of the things I'd like to see happen:
Lightweight seats with 4-point harnesses
Removal of the soft top assembly
Stock radio installation (it has an aftermarket unit currently)
375-400whp (valvetrain, race cats, honed intake, flowed heads, injectors...)
Build a front splitter/air dam
3-piece AMG rear spoiler (possibly)
Delete the SDS suspension in favor of Bilsteins and H&R/Eibachs
Currently:
Wiring harness replacements
New TB's to accompany new harnesses
SPAL fans to replace all stock fans
Get a dyno baseline before modifying
Now for the pictures:

i want those headlights!! no fair. i keep finding passenger side ones. no drivers side (LHS for LHD car). so disappointing. i even went to Mercedes and they cant even get them in because they were "European spec only"

I am getting slightly frustrated with cutting out the A(I)DS. Smiley overload is just what I needed--thanks
I'll take a picture of my headlight connectors, so you can compare to your car on the off chance they're plug and play. I don't know why I didn't think to mention it sooner, but the OEM wiring harnesses I got plug right into the Xenons. Maybe that's a good sign? I'm sure we can find you some on ebay with some time.
