SL/R129: driver seat stopped working

1998 SL 500
driver seat stopped working
The drivers seat on my 1998 SL 500 stopped working after i vacuumed.I moved the seat all the way forward then all the way back & then nothing.Ive checked the fuses & their all good. Whats next?

Did you check the plug under the seat? If connected, check the door panel connection. After all the continuity checks then I would use the other seat controller with the non functioning seat. The plug system is identical. There are videos for seat pad removal, a couple of 10mm bolts, as I recall!??
