1995 SL320
95 SL320 starting problems
Just lately I have had several starting problems..I will go for a short drive and park the car like on a slope..turn off the engine come back and try and start it and it won't start. Also, will be at a light and start out from the light and all of a sudden the engine just quits.
I changed out the Fuel Filter and that seemed to help..until I took it out again and parked it on a slope and came out to start it and it didn't start..so, I put it in neutral and rolled down the hill and stopped it on level ground. Then tried to start it and it started right up and I drove it home.
I have a scanner and scanned it and it comes up with NO CODES every time..?
Hard to figure this one out..with it not throwing codes.

Crank Position Sensor
Replaced the CPS today and now the car won't start at all...scanned it and getting signal from CPS...

Not getting a reading on the Mass Air Sensor with the scanner..turning over the engine.
Not sure about the Camshaft Sensor yet....we are thinking it's a timing problem now.
We are thinking it is either the Mass air flow sensor or the Camshaft Sensor.
Don't know if the car would start normally with the Mass air flow sensor disconnected...heard some cars will but don't know about Mercedes...?
