SL/R129: Oil Pressure Gauge bouncing up and down!

Oil Pressure Gauge bouncing up and down!
Normally my car reads a "3" on the oil pressure gauge.
Sometimes, though (and I can't find a pattern in this), when I'm stopped, the oil pressure gauge will jitterbug up and down. I can get the needle to go back up by stepping on the gas, but when I let off the gas, the needle goes back down, and sometimes goes to quite close to zero!
Here is a video of the gauge:
What's going on here?
Thanks!

excellent video!
Oil viscosity is likely an issue. Oil weight? age of oil? Filter changed?
As an old benz owner, both my age, the cars age and the 50 years of owning MB's, I have seen oil gauge activity like your video depicts. I think the critical pressure is when the engine is above idle.
In my history with Bentley, Jag and MG cars I have had sending unit failure or wiring loom shorts that have made for irregular gauge reads, but I have not had a MB issue with the sending unit.
Good luck with the "jitters"
