Auto leveling Xenon lights stopped working after accident
I have a 2000 500SL that was hit in the front left. After everything was put back together the lights point straight down into the ground. Is there a separate connector for the leveling motor that the body shop might have missed when they re-assembled everything? If not, how do I go about troubleshooting the cause?

Headlamp Range Adjustment (HRA) control unit.
Rear axle sensor HRA
Front axle sensor HRA
One of those is your problem.....
Most likely your problem is the Headlamp Range Adjustment (HRA) control unit.... From what I read in other forums.....

I saw that thread about the control unit the other day, but since it was working before the accident and the body shop had to remove/replace the headlights I thought it was more likely that perhaps something simply wasnt connected properly.

They are pretty good at painting bumpers and fenders, but not so much at high end German car electrical systems so even if I take it back there I have a much better chance of actually fixing it myself :P Thats why Im trying to get information on how this system should be connected together, and how to troubleshoot it.
