Interior question

Good morning,
My question is in regard to interior trim. Is there a metal bezel which surrounds the ignition switch on the 1991 300 SL? I have noticed that the vinyl is coming away from that area and would like to know if there is a bezel surrounding the ignition switch as my 300 SL doesn't have that trim item.
Thank you

I have observed 4 different years of the R129, but not 91, all had a metal, dark, maybe black metal ring that has two parts, one flat, with indentations marking the off, on and start positions that is in contact with the dash fabric, and an inner ring that has space on its inside, the inside ring has a rounded shape and may be able to turn and maybe "unscrew" to release the two rings from the key barrel. Just a guess, I have not ever removed the bezel or key structure. I would go to the parts explosion to find out the structures of the area.
Good luck

Thank you

Good morning, thank you for your reply. If it is possible, can you please point me to the right "parts explosion" to see the bezel you have described? Again, thank you very much for your help with this issue.
