Hey guys! this is Lowesguy! I work on my own cars and now have 4 Benzs in the stable just picked up a 1991 500SL 34k original miles,always garaged,hard top never off,bought it from 81 year old Japanese couple,uber clean,white on blue,they didn't drive it much,I test drove it ,smelled fuel found leaking fuel pressure regulator,had it flatbeded home,paid $7500,car ran well ,trans shifted ,cars all there and small stuff to fix,found it on CL Riverside Ca,here it is!

 

excellent and much better luck with a "barn" find, than me. I almost always get wasp nests and rodent droppings!

 

In this neck of the woods,suburbia ,a car thats 22 years old with 34k on it ,is a barn find! how could that happen? did have dust on it,in the huge 4 car residential garage,he also had a 1978 Lincoln 2 door coupe with 19k on it,said he wants 13k,perfect car

 

In Sedan, Kansas we obtained 6 cars with 30 years of dirt, dust, chewed wiring, mud dobbers and cat urine. The Rolls still ran, Bentley needed brakes, Jaguar MK VIII only the SU's cleaned, 300C 4 door convertible benz was perfect, but mildew odor, 250SL, new interior and Citroen , lots of hydraulics!
All have been sold and I doubt I will ever see another deal like that! When the widow opened the Butler building door, my heart beat so fast, I was glad my cardiologist was not on vacation!
