SL/R129: hydraulic cylinders for soft top
welcome to the forum! Your 1991 has twelve (12) cylinders for the soft top actuation and latching. Here is a schematic of what and where they are:

What is the problem you are trying to solve? Are you seeing a leak, or is the top not moving?
Here are the DIY instructions for access to the various cylinders in your SL:

Outside of the rod seals showing visible leaks to the outside, most of these cylinders have piston seals that swell up and/or become brittle with age, which would make it extremely hard to move the cylinders by hand, or which can cause internal bypasses. There are special seals required in either case.
