SL500 lifter noise ((HELP))
I just bought a sl500 and it has 107,213 miles. The lifters are knocking both sides so I parked it! I was told by a Mercedes Mechanic to put 0-40 in it with a new filter and it would stop. NO, No it did not. Upon studing on this car I found the Camshaft Oilers go bad. I found 16 Aluminum ones, valve cover gaskets and upper timing chane guide rails. Has any one installed them? if so can you please let me know the steps, and Pictures if avalible, PLEASE help I don't want to shell out 2,000.00 on something I can fix My self, I worked on My 300 series a few times much more difficult then my T/A but i'm learning more every turn of the rench,
