Installed the carbon Wiechers strut bar the other day. Fairly straight forward with a little maneuvering to get into place. However it does press down on a vacuum hose (?) connected to the right side throttle body. Should this be any cause for alarm? Some additional lines had to be lifted up and over the bar. While they might now be in closer or perhaps touching the brand new hood pad, I don't think it's drastic. Also...they could have centered the damn sticker.

Quality of the piece itself was on point. Clean welds and the weave of the carbon is top notch. I'm very picky when it comes to carbon fiber and it did not disappoint. Performance or feel wise, can't say I've noticed much of a difference after a short drive, but that was never the goal anyway. Pics attached.

If you look at my posted photo, you'll see I rerouted the EVAP line for a cleaner install.

1) Strut Brace Bar improves structural rigidity in convertibles and reduces Cowl Shake (jitter/shutter vibration) over uneven road surfaces at various speeds. Handling and stability is improved by tying the two front struts together so that the load of each strut is transmitted during cornering therefore reducing chassis flex.

2) Lowering Springs provide a lower center of gravity that reduces body roll for better handling and improved appearance.

3) AMG staggered width alloy wheels with maximum performance tires.
is there a strut tower brace for the r230 SL55 AMG available?
