Yes it is factory paint the only mods are the Bremmer 17" wheels and H&R springs. The car is a load of fun in the canyons and mountains, plenty of power for that. The 500 is mostly daily driver and Vegas trips. The V12 is for longer trips where I can stand on the gas for a little open road racing

Is it paint code 008 - Designo AlanitGrun by chance (check video at 13 second mark)?
Weird coincidence that the YouTube algorithm fed me a R129 video all about paint codes. I have no life apparently...either that or Google is spying on everything I do. Or both could be true. lol.

After all that work - I hope it gets up and goes on demand! Fun to drive?
The drive train on the R129 has been described as “bulletproof” ... so hopefully it is minor repairs.
Even "bulletproof" stuff needs maintenance. In this case it's the transmission that decided reverse gear wouldn't work any more. So, I'm waiting for a rebuilt unit from Sun Valley Transmissions and when it gets here I'll put it in and should be good for another 27+ years.
Way cheaper than a new car...

Did you know the R129 can do 60 mph in reverse?
I read that one time - have never tried it.
