2001 sl500 r129

hi im new sl500 owner

hi all im new owner of my 2001 sl500 r129 just want to say hi im still in the process of fixing it I got it from car auction only 68k mils on it r sidefront damage but its fixed just still looking for a front bumper

Look at salvage yards for the bumper. Where are you located?

Bet you got a good deal. Bumper will cost you $500 used and you have a nice SL.

nj there is none on ebay and the mb dealer wants 1600$ to much I got the car for 5100$ low mils

Try calling this guy. I've bought parts from him. He's in FL but I think shipping would only be $150 or so.

No problem. I think he has 5 or 6. Try to get the right color and you won't have to repaint. Also, you can negotiate a little as he is the owner.

I purchased fog lights, 3rd brake light lens and a rubber top/window strip from him. All turned out good.

Hi there i am a 17 year old kid looking to buy a 2001 SL500 and was worried about the frame. i always here of that body having cracks in the frame. Has anyone experienced this or any other issues with this model?
