On another forum, as a visitor, I found this person soliciting anecdots, techichal information and / or reference books for the SL automobile.

His reply to my email was:
Thanks for the email. My SL book will cover all the SLs including R230 (there's an SL350 now, too) and will also include a little on the Vision SLR show car and SLR McLaren road car. It will be published some time in 2004, I expect towards the end of the year.
