SL/R129: Coolant Light On/Off

Coolant Light On/Off
Hi, I bought 1999 SL500 (102kmi) few months ago.
So far so good but last week a coolant light started coming on.
I checked coolant levels - half a tank that I see at least.
No leaks at all.
AND the temp lights are all normal - when light goes on, nothing changes in reg to temp.
ALSO, weird thing is that the light goes on when I drive around 60mph or so BUT when I stop for few mins or go in slow traffic in doesn't go on or shuts off.
Btw, temperatures outside are about 60-70 degrees so no heat.
I had a 1994 Vette before and it did completely opposite (and I think all cars would heat up more when it's slow traffic or stopped).
Do you think it's just a sensor malfunction or I should worry a bit more.
