SL/R129: Removing mirror of right side side mirror

Removing mirror of right side side mirror
Am replacing the mirror of the right side side mirror, how to I remove it? I kinda remember that you can just pry off the mirror, however Im not sure and am afraid I might damage something.

The mirror is held on by a couple of plastic ball-and-socket joints. You can just pull it out with your fingers, alternatively use a wide, flat, plastic object inserted behind the mirror to lever it out.
