Guys besides the window drop not working the interior light (above the rear view mirror) will not go on when doors are opened, lights near the floor do come on, switch on, when I push the switch to the on side lights work??

Question is, upper interior lights do not come on when doors are opened?

There was a recent thread about it that linked to old thread with solution.
I remember something about module in driver footwell.
Find the old thread and you will have pictures.

It could be a wiring issue, but I would assume the problem is either the 3-position switch or the electronics in the map light assembly. I would remove the assembly so you can test the switch with a multimeer.
