SL/R129: 600 SL Fuse blows immediately

600 SL Fuse blows immediately
Car wouldn't lock, replaced the battery in the back, then replaced the fuse behind the passenger seat. Whenever it is replaced, it blows. ideas?

I don't think you are going to get any useful information from this forum without specifying what fuse is blowing and the model year of your vehicle.

What year? Where in the world are you? what country was the car originally shipped to?
With a fuse blowing, did you start the engine to cause the fuse to burn? or did the fuse blow with the battery connection? Did the remote key fob activation cause the fuse demise?
I'm sure forum members can sort this delima. give us more to work with.
