A/C codes
Hi, I have a 99 500 with no AC. I have run diag through the CCU and the BAR is at 8-9. Not sure this is enough. Can't seem to find that answer anywhere. Also codes are:
d1 *A
23 *3
41 *7
41 *9
I have no clue what they are, all the literature give values of 14xx four digit codes. so I am stumped at the moment as I can't find any reference to codes like I have. I have cleared them and they have not come back yet. I did put a new evap sensor in just because I know that is a common issue. All other readings seem normal or reasonable to me such as the inside/outside temp sensors but are as follows.
01 23
02 22
03 26
05 25
07 9
08 40
Anyone have any ideas where to start? I think low in refrigerant but don't want to add if not the issue, I would rather go at it logically. Any help would be really wonderful!
As a side note, the inside temp and outside temp (01 & 02) do not read the same. It is about 28C here today but inside reads 23C in the shop with the top/windows down. Outside reads 28C like the dash display of which is accurate. Would this fault cause AC not to work?

Out Of Control!!
The important one is number 7=refrig pressure---that should be 15bar, your at 9, therefore you are either very low on refrig or your compressor can't make pressure. Do not go the canned BS route---see a shop who will evac---hold vac and refill, if he cant hold a vacuum---you gotta leak!

Out Of Control!!
Your first issue is as I explained----then you can correct the fine control issues such as cabin temp bla bla---first things first!!
