I have a 1994 SL 500 I'm trying to install windshield wiper assymbly but the plug is a four wire female connected and the recepticle is a five wire male and different size.The guy I bought the assymly from said it is off a 2001 SL I was told 92 to 2001 will work is there an adapter I need ?

You must use the 5-wire assembly that was used on all vehicles through MY1995.
Yes I think your right.I bought it on eBay and when I got it I found out the plug was wrong.I paid 100.00 for it.when I mess him and told him he said well I have correct motor with right plugg for 75.00

Ok great.I sent the guy i bought this part from a pic of my wiper relay conection he said he has a 5 plug motor. fits 90 to 95 so he said to send my motor back and he will send me the 5 plug..
I will send him this part number so I can be sure it will fit
