Brake dust powder ... a common problem with MB.

Cleaning often to prevent build up is the fix.

I've seen others write of replacement brake pads ... but I have no specifics.

You will stop complaining of MB break dust the first time you have to do an emegency stop .

I don' know if you still have the original rims on the 91 model. Even with different brake pads, they are amazingly painful to clean.

I would actually recommend switching to the 18" AMG wheels (2000+) They improve the looks and the handling of the car and are very easy to wipe clean (enough clearance for your hands around the brake discs as well). I have usually just used a rag once or twice a week and they stayed in beautiful shape. I have seen many low cost sets of Ebay. If not those, at least look at the 1999 standard 17" wheels.

The clips or plastic tabs behind your power seat control module must be missing or broken thats why it moves about. Remove the wood trim piece just above the power seat controls (behind the door lever), by prying it off carefully with your fingers or screwdriver. This will allow you to maneuver and remove the power seat control module itself. Check behind for missing metal clips or broken plastic tabs. I used double sided foam tape to hold the thing in place since there was nothing I could do to repair the broken plastic tabs.

There are several "dust less" brake pads available. Try Hawk, Mintex, PBR etc.. I tried PBR in my M3, though it was almost dustless on the street, it actually made so much more dust when used on the track and the pads wore out real quick.
