Radio Problem

Whenever I switch the radio on,the circuitbreaker
" C " always burns through.Whats the problem

Where in the world are you? Is the vehicle an R 129? US market vehicle?
short in a wire is my guess. When you pull the head unit I would look for the power wire with the insulation broken

'09 S600, (2) R129 300SLs, '03 SL500, '03 SL55
In a stock audio system fuse C powers the amplifier located in the right footwell (picture). I'd unplug the amp and see if the fuse still blows. If it doesn't, then the amp is suspect.

Hi.Thanks for your advise.I am living in Fort Myers,FL .My car is a R 129,300SL,2001.
I tried your advice,but could not find any broken insulation.There is also a CD changer in the rear which I disconnected.This also d
didnt solve the problem.So what to do?
