Instrument cluster not working

Removed instrument cluster to change bulb for gauges. Disconnected cluster two plugs, replaced bulb and reinstalled. Now nothing works, gauges, idiot lights, dash light, and ect. Engine starts and runs but nothing works in the cluster. The cluster was very hard to pull out using the correct tools. Even though the cluster pulled out hard it appears to be no damage to the cluster. Tried reset button on clock knob, nothing happens. Could not find a bad fuse or a fuse that pertains to the cluster. Harness is in good condition, all the harness plug pins appear to be ok.

You give little clues, so I'm just guessing. On early cars fuses 1 and 5 in main fuse box deliver power to the IC. Some of the the four plugs behind the cluster are loose? Check operation before you push it back. Smear the rubber pads with silicone crease; much easier to push in and more importantly, to pull out.

Problem solved. Apparently the large plug alway felt like it was in place, the cam lock would move as the plug went in and lock. After several times of removing/unplugging the instrument cluster I realized the plug was not going in all the way, reaching in back of the cluster you can not see what is happening. Now everything works! Thank you for your help
