2001 SL500
Soft Brake Pedal feel

Hello, thought I would ask and put this out there. I went to get my 2001 SL500 inspected today at a place I have been going to 3 different times, once for an oil change, once to get my turn signal stalk fixed, and once to replace the crank shaft sensor. I have had the car for 3 years. Today the shop told me there was something wrong with my brakes. Now since I have owned the car the brakes has always had the same pedal feel and the car stops, stops normally for normal stops and stops excellent for emergency braking. The pedal as always felt a little soft but it doesn't feel like it needs to be bled and they don't feel spongy, I have driven other Mercedes and other vehicles but to me it feels normal doesn't feel like any thing is wrong. So my question is, does the 2001 SL500s normally have a soft brake pedal feel?

Yes, it's very common for this car.
