how do I remove the passenger airbag to get at an annoying chime

how do I remove the passenger airbag to get at an annoying chime that wont go off anytime the car's wheels start moving.
I think it has to do with the ABS system - brakes work fine but after it sat in storage for almost a year, this chime wont go off now and the little yellow wheel light near the speedo comes on and flickers when in reverse signaling that the wheels arent moving at the same rate -- I think it is an ABS sensor that is on the fritz ..
