Bob nice looking car, my's white I would like to have a black one also, but have to wait till both children are out of college. Did you install your ZR3 laser shifter that you mentioned on your web site in april? I'm installing my this weekend, it's no fun trying to find a place for the laser shifters on the front, where did you install yours? Are they working alright there? Thanks Dairel

thanks i actually installed the blinder laser jammer which is pretty much the same unit, but i didn't install it on the SL, i installed it on the 190e, in the grill will probably be the best... let me post pictures tomorrow, i have to get to bed, but i will post the pictures for you tomorrow . . . do you already have the zr3 or are you going to order it ? alright i will post tomorrow, do you have pictures of yours ?

the bottom grill should be your best bet on the SL, i wouldn't put it behind the emblem because it can't see a straight-line view of the road, i would go for the bottom bumper

I was lookin at a 97 Black Opal/ Tan SL500 on AMG Staggerd wheels with the small rivets and wood steering whee,l xenons and panorama roof back in 2002 but as I was testdriving and was about to go in and tell the sales rep I will take it he told me it was sold. To the person that came to look at it earlier they happan to come in when I was testing driving and buy it.

it was painted last year and we hardly drive it at all, i think they put 9 or 10 coats of black and 5 or 6 clear, factory only puts 4 or 5 coats of black in, and i haven't waxed it since it has only been out a hand full of times, never sees the rain, but at the shop they used meguires techwax,
