The 1990 Motor Week video review imbedded in that article was interesting to see & hear.
The R129 was a big step up from the R107. The reviewer was very excited.
The 500 SL did not have traction control back then ... lots of burn outs off the line.
That video should be posted on the Sticky R129 Bideo thread!
