Radio won't turn on

My battery went dead during the sub zero last 2 weeks. I tried to charge it but after charging there wasn't enough battery power to turn the engine over....just click click and a funny radio noise. The new battery came today and I installed it and fired up the 500.....no warning lights runs perfect, however, the radio won't come on. I checked the breakers and they are fine. Did I fry my radio? Helllllp!

Hi , did you punch your code for the radio into the radio after battery was put in? Look for a card in with your manuals.
If not, get your vin and call your dealer, {service dept} if they are in a good mood they can get the code. Good luck

Two metal thin blades slide into the slots on the face of the head unit They displace the locking flanges on each side and the unit can be dragged forward. I'm referring to the original head unit by Becker . I bought the thin blade system from Crutchfield and they have worked for all of the Euro vehicles ( Benz, Jag, Porsche, Daimlier, Trumiph MGB, MGA Lotus Audi Bentley older? )

be sure to look to see if your radio has a main fuse on the back panel (once you
pull the radio out). some MB radios have this built into their design and often overlooked

I got the flat pullers on Epay for $3.00 for 2 sets! I slid the radio out with no problem and found a 10 amp fuze in the rear corner......it was blown. I had two 10 Amp fuzes in my junk drawer and now back in business. What a simple quick fix.
