Is there another name for the color Mushroom? Also MB-Tex question
My C280 had MB-Tex seas and they wore super and looked fantastic when I got rid of it 10 years after buying it.
Did Mercedes put MB-Tex into the SL320/R129 models that you know of ???
Also, is there another name for the color Mushroom that I have been told is the color of my interiors. Right now I have a 95 and a 96 and both have that color, so I am assuming it was popular. I just am not seeing Mushroom offered by any of the aftermarket seat cover makers.
Thanks in advance for your input!

Correct
I'm not an expert of interior options, but just a guess, I don't "think" MB offered MB Tex in USA SL's after the 107's manufacturing ended in 89.
MB-Tex was still offered in 124's in the 90's, but not 129's to my knowledge.
My wife's (now sold), 85 380SL had dark blue MB-Tex, and I was amazed how new it looked after all those years. It does seem to age much better than leather.
But, MB-Tex fabric is available, I'm sure you can have your seats done over with it if you wanted too.
