New toy... Starting to clean stuff up. Oil leak first

I just bought a gorgeous 97 500 SL and I'm starting to comb through it before I start putting some miles on it. Found this small drip oil leak and I'm trying to get to the bottom of it. Where might this be coming from? Drivers side of engine bay kinda far back but not from oil pan or any obvious coolers....
I'm under the car now, so just toss some ideas out if you can from these pics... Thanks in advance. ✌🏾

Valve covers leak before other gaskets. IMHO, a 'small' drip should not be of any concern. I am not familiar with '97 V-8's, having a '94 sl-600 and 2001 S-600.
The '94 V-12 (M-120) engine in the sl-600 is notorious for leaking from all the seals and gaskets on the front of the block and valve covers REPEATABLY every few years.

I was under it late yesterday and found that the valve cover has a slight leak at the back of the head contributing to the steering box leak....
