I was backing out of a parking lot with my 1996 R129 and heard a crunching sound like I had run over a soft drink can. I looked for something but saw nothing. An hour later I was backing again and heard the same noise. I suspect differential issues but have not dived into it yet. At home I backed into my garage thinking I would avoid issues when it is time to get i t out and work on it. No noise when I backed in. Any thought's?
