Hello all. As my SL rehab progresses, a couple of questions have arisen.
1. Has anyone had or seen an R129 with this rear speaker setup? The carpeting on the pods matches the rest of the carpets and the cubby lids still open normally.
2. Never have seen this side decal on another R129. The car was an early Canadian-market car and I'm wondering if the Vancouver dealer added it for more marketing impact (or maybe it was even a car show display vehicle). I'm trying to decide whether to remove them or leave them.
The speakers are aftermarket, Joe. I've never seen anything like them.
I don't care for the decal. If this were my car and it doesn't require a lot of effort to remove, it would be gone.
I agree about the decals Bob, but am concerned a bit about the paint beneath if they have been on the car for 30 years. Plus each character is individual.
