Re-install gauge cluster
I finally got my gauge cluster out to replace the odometer light bulb (plus a few others while I was there - since I had a 4 pack of bulbs!). BTW, shout out to Kent at Mercedes Source for his custom cluster pullers - they worked so well after the regular ones were a miserable failure. I had even tried (previously) removing the lower dash trim pieces to push the cluster out from behind...no luck. There's *nothing* like having the right tool for the job.
Ok, so you already know my cluster is stubborn and didn't want to come out in the first place. Well, guess what - now it doesn't want to go all the way back in! It's about 85% of the way there but not fully seated.
Does anyone have any tips on how to wedge this SOB back into place?
